Our Approach
UpLift Spa has been helping clients of all skin types reduce unwanted hair on almost any area of the body, with the process of laser hair removal. We use the Candela Gentle Max Pro with both the 755nm Laser wavelength (Alexandrite) and the 1064nm Laser wavelength (ND-YAG). This gives us the technology and capacity to treat lighter skinned, as well as darker skinned clients.
Laser Hair Removal generally require a series of treatments at specified intervals to get the best results possible. Treatments typically range from 6 – 9 sessions in the same area depending on your skin type, amount and the thickness of your hair.
Clients need to avoid the following for 2 weeks prior to treatment:
- Waxing or tweezing
- Prescription strength antibiotics for Acne (If doing LHR on the face)
- Lightening Creams
During your first visit your UpLift Spa Laser technician will be able to evaluate how many treatment sessions you may need.
And don’t worry, if it’s your first time, it will be a breeze!
Two weeks prior to your treatment, please avoid any lightening cream, waxing, tweezing, and if you are doing LHR on the face please also avoid prescription antibiotics for Acne.
Lastly, please arrive cleanly shaven for your appointment.
