VelaShape represents the latest in cutting-edge, non-invasive body contouring technology. It is effective for cellulite reduction, skin tightening and firming, and circumferential reduction. Your skin will appear smoother and your body’s shape and contour will improve, not to mention your clothes will fit better! It makes an excellent treatment on its own, or when used in combination with permanent fat reduction devices such as TruSculpt iD.

The Science Behind VelaShape® Technology

Unlike most cellulite reduction and skin tightening treatments, VelaShape uses a combination of three types of energy to maximize the effectiveness of the treatment:

• Infrared light (IR) heats the tissue up to 3 mm depth.
• Bi-polar radio frequency (RF) heats tissue from 2 to ~15 mm depth.
• Vacuum +/- massage mechanisms enable precise targeting of energy to the tissue.

Please note VelaShape is not a weight loss treatment. It’s ideal for reducing the trouble spots that diet and exercise can’t reach. The ideal VelaShape patient is someone with a BMI (Body Mass Index) of less than 30.

The Protocol

Most patients require 6 treatments to see the results they desire. Upon completion of the initial treatment series, we recommend a single maintenance treatment once every 3 months.

At UpLift Spa we tailor each treatment to approximately 60 mins per area. Common areas are Thighs, Arms, Abdomen (including Flanks), Back (including Flanks), or Hips.

Most clients describe the treatment as a heated deep massage with little to no pain. You can expect redness post treatment, which subsides in a couple hours. You can immediately resume normal activities.
